Round 4 Chemo Is Done!!!
Chemo finished yesterday around 5pm and they immediately unhooked her from the IV since she is doing a good job of drinking her bottles. I didn't realize how hard it was to have her attached to the IV pole until we got to go for our first walk FREE of all wires!! As you can see from the pics below, she had a WONDERFUL time!! Thankfully she only had that one bad day of feeling nauseous. Now we will wait for her counts to go down and come back up. I am really hoping that it will be a little shorter round like the last time. One can hope, right!! Thanks again to everyone for all the kind words and continued prayers.
God is good! We love you Ella!!

ReplyDeletejust curious - does the phrase "little pistol" ever come to mind when you see ella and the looks she gives and the energy she has??? she is so so cute and we are so happy round 4 is finished :) hope you can go home soon!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's happened again. I didn't think it could, but the evidence is right in front of me. Miss Ella has gotten cuter AGAIN! And I seriously need that adorable hat (or one just like it)! Thinking good thoughts and keeping fingers crossed for a quick stay!

ReplyDeleteSeriously, she is the cutest kid on the floor. :) Denise, we had a nurse last Friday night who normally works on 3rd floor. I mentioned that our friends were there and she said she was Ella's nurse when you were in the OICU! Of course, I cannot remember her name for the life of me but she sure remembered sweet Ella. :)
