Now, on to my other concern. This rash on the back of her head. I don't know if these pictures do it justice but it is quite red and quite large!!! The Dr. doesn't seem to know for sure what it is for sure because normally this "chemo rash" is found on the hands and feet. But as numerous people have said today, they stopped trying to figure things out with oncology kids a long time ago....everyone is sooooo different.
We had a quick visit today from Emily and her mom Sara. Ella was totally fine until Emily got to laughing so hard that she was kind of screaming.....and Ella doesn't like screaming kids as shown in the picture below. But other than that, we had a very enjoyable visit with them. Thanks guys for making our day go by a little bit faster :)

Awww she is such a trooper. Go Ella! :)
I'm so happy to hear she is feeling a little better. I hope things go up hill from here. That rash does look rather red, hope it isn't bothering Ella too much, does she scratch it thus making it redder? I just hope it subsides soon and it's of no real concern. Praying that Ella gets through this with no more discomfort, it's just horrible that she has to go through any of this in the first place. I will be keeping Ella in my prayers and sending loads of positive healing energy. Can't wait till this whole things is over. Many many hugs )
Sweet Ella - I pray you continue to feel better and pray that you will eat today!!
Denise - You are such a beautiful MOM!!!
Happy to hear that Ella is getting a little bit of her spunk back!!! I am sure that getting out of the room and walking arounds helped a bit!!
Poor sweetie, I hope that rash is not causing her too much discomfort=( Are they giving her anything for it??
All in all, Miss Ella is looking good......no surprise here=) She is the true definition of a warrior princess!!
Continued prayers as always!!
I'm so glad she is getting back to her old cheerful energetic self! I hope that she decided to eat for you last night or early this morning!!!!
oh my gosh - i hope she keeps feeling better and will eat so that she does not have an ng tube. the rash on the back of her head looks like it itches - i hope for her sake it looks worse than it feels!!! is there anything (benadryl?) they can give her to help with it? thinking of you and hoping ella feels better and better each day!!!!!!!
Thank goodness she's feeling at least a little better! Thinking happy, positive thoughts that she drinks her bottle today and doesn't need the ng tube. Good luck Ella and keep getting stronger!
Glad she is feeling better. We will be praying for her strength to continue, her numbers to play the right game and that rash to go away.
hugs sweet Ella! Glad to see you smile again.
glad to see her sweet smile again!
So glad to see her smiling again...now she just has to eat! That rash is pretty red, it looks like it really itches too, I hope it doesn't though.
Glad to see that smiling face again. Hopefully being hungry will come next.
As far as the rash, I realize kids and adults are different and I am not sure if the drugs are but we see the classic ara-c rash on adults during induction or consolidation in all sorts of different places. Never itches or seems to bother them. Just looks like it does. Hopefully that is all it is.
Drink a bottle for everyone Ella!
Ok, seriously, Arina has those same jammies!
That rash looks so sore, poor baby, just one more round, than we are done with this crap!
Aww, the picture is sad and funny at the same time! Poor Emily, she was so excited and laughing/screeching .. then poor Ella ... it was too funny and sad at the same time. :)
