Look What We Found.......

A new Angel friend who just happens to have Down syndome!!! This is Taylor and she is 3 1/2 months old. Isn't she precious??? Ella and I got to go visit her the other day and are so excited that she only lives about 20 minutes away. She has two older sisters so Ella was in heaven that she got to follow them around and I was in heaven getting to hold this little sweetie. She does have a heart defect and will most likely be having her heart surgery in the next month or so. Her mom does have a blog that she is trying to keep up with but I am hoping that some of my blog friends who have been through this heart surgery can hop over to her blog and give her some advice/support of what is to come. Please go to http://litterals99.blogspot.com/ and see some much cuter pictures than the ones I got.

Here is Taylor and her sweet mom Erin

Ella giving Taylor "some love"

She just can't keep her hands off of her!!

Here is another question......Ella has been a good sleeper all of her life. That is, until about 3 months ago when she started waking up during the night. At first, I thought it was related to her anemia issue but when it didn't stop after that, I started wondering. In the back of my mind, I wonder if it is a teething issue as I have no experience with this since my other kids just poppped out teeth like it was nothing. I know Ella has been getting some molars but is 3 months a long time for this to be going on? Or is it an almost 2 year old bad habit that she is developing? I will gladly accept any input :)
Other than that, Ella's blood continues to look "normal" for 2 months in a row now. I never get too excited about being in the clear, but it is nice each visit to see the smile on the oncologist's face. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

How fun - and another new blog to follow - yay!
As for sleeping... good luck! Piper's "issues" started when she transitioned from a crib to regular bed. Max will sleep in a crib until he's 10!!

How do you keep meeting these cuties!!! What a beautiful baby.

As for your question, Emmie has been sleeping through the night since she came home from the hospital so for her to wake is really unusual. I am blaming it all on her teething. She's got the runny nose and red cheeks. She's getting molars and eye teeth. The Tylenal really helps. She still tosses about but doesn't wake up crying.

What a sweet new friend for Ella!

Joel has had a really hard time with teething. The eye teeth have been the worst for him. They come up and down all of the time and take forever to finally break through. He always wakes up at least 1 or 2 times at night and usually is really fussy at meal times. I used to think it was behavioural but now I'm sure it has to do with his teeth. He has been teething forever!

Oh look how soft Ella's being! But the baby doesn't look like she's quite sure. 10 days and counting! Do you know if your coming to Disneyland one day?

You betcha we'll be there ALL day Friday! I don't think we are going Monday because we leave that day and I don't know what time. Oh I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it!

Oh she is a sweetie! I love the picture of them together - she is being so soft patting Taylors head. I'll have to go visit her blog....
As far as sleeping - Carter has nights where he wakes up too - but he is a binky boy and if we put a binky in his mouth he goes right back to sleep. We have thought the same thing - that it is his teeth...

Love the pictures of them sitting together. What a beautiful baby! Can't wait to check out her blog.

As for sleeping, is she doing anything new developmentally? A lot of times sleep gets interupted when something developmental is occuring. She may be waking up to "practice" in the middle of the night or just may have her mind and body a little disorganized in sleep because it's getting organized in another area. It usually doesn't last this long, but with our special kiddos who sometimes take longer to accomplish developmental milestones I would expect things like sleep interuptions would be extended as well. It will most likely pass. Good luck!

Oh sheesh I did forget Ella hugs! I'm going to go change that right now! And I'm so excited because I feel like our last meeting was ruined because I was so concerned about Jaxson's declining health and he was so sick. the whole BBQ feels like a dream!

I'm so glad Ella's blood was "normal" for two months now. It is so funny how we learn to just take one day at a time. That new baby is so beautiful and FAT! She's so round and plump I just want to smoosh her all over. I don't know how Ella restrained herself. What a happy day.

So glad Ellas numbers are good and that you are finding more friends there! :) Taylor is beautiful! Been missing you guys so much lately and in great need of some great cali weather and even better cali friends. Hopefully sometime this summer. I'll email you with all our crazy life details later as to not ramble on here, but thanks for being so great!
Miss P isn't sleeping much either. She's just started teething and it's been rough, but even before that she didnt' sleep great like she did when she was younger. Sleep apnea for us, illnesses, teeth, who knows! But we did get her these all natural teething tablets and they seem to help her sleep. Last night I got 5 hours uninterupted!! woohoo. Miss you my friend! hope we can connect soon! fingers crossed!

Yeah, That is so great to find new friends, especially ones that are so close!!! You know, Sam does that as well lately. He wakes up at least one to two times in the night screaming!!! We go and hold him and rock him for a minute and then put his binki back in and he goes back to sleep. I wondered if it was just bad dreams?? He does have an ear infection and congestion so that might be it as well?? Hard to know?

Another angel friend....she is a sweetheart! How did I miss this post? I have been kind of bad about blogging...guess that is how! Happy to hear Ella's bloodwork is coming back good...

Not sure with the waking up...but some times teething can be the factor and growth spurts...Brayden has been working on his molars forEVER! He has one partially through, but working on all the others, just bulging under the gum...

I am so jealous you are going to Disney soon with Lacey and her crew! I sooo want to come, but not able to this time! Take lots of pics! I know you will! Take care!
