Troublemaker & A Prayer Please

First things first.....please keep Ella in your prayers as tomorrow we head off to our monthly visit with the oncologist to make sure that there are no bad cells growing in her blood...i.e. leukemia cells! I get nervous for every visit for fear that this will be the time we get the bad news. But she seems so healthy so I just hold on to that!!!

Secondly....now that she is pretty much crawling (she still refuses to bend her left leg when she crawls and sticks it out to the side) Ella is everywhere!!! Her favorite toy seems to be the little white thing on the end of all the door stoppers. She has found almost every one in the house and pulls it off effortlessly. I guess this is one time that I am glad she doesn't put anything in her mouth. I was so use to being able to put her down somewhere and have her be in that same room when I came back but now she almost always moves to another room. And the cat food and water......her radar takes her right to it, always!! I put it down at night and when she naps but sometimes forget to pick it up before she sets off. I haven't found a good permanent place to put it that she can't reach...oh well!! She is obsessed with the cat and follows it whenever she can. She is NOT NICE to the cat but the dumb thing never runs away (at least not until she has been tortured a few times) In the picture below, she has the cat cornered behind the coffee table in between the couch and wall. I knew it was only a matter of time before there was trouble. I think she ended up with a nice little scratch (probably while I was taking the picture)

Ella will be in our prayers for sure. Hope all goes well with her appointment.
What happened?! All of a sudden our kiddos are off and crawling. I can't keep Justin in one spot for longer than 5 seconds. He is off exploring and loving it! I can't complain... I've been waiting for this to finally happen! Justin has an obsession with the door stoppers too! Fun times!

I can't imagine that anticipation every month. Enough to make me crazy.
My seven year old is a cat fanatic. We got him one and he is obsessed. Thats his autistic love I guess.

We will keep Ella in our prayers for sure today - we hope the results are good!

Could she get any cuter? Her facial expressions are so cute. How fun for her to follow the cat around. Carter is getting pretty good at the army crawl so he is having fun roaming around too.

I am going to be so sad if you come to Utah on August 3rd because we are going to be in Yellowstone until the 5th. Keep us posted about your plans - hopefully you do get to come. If we don't catch up to you then we want to come to California next year so maybe we could arrange something.

And I don't know what happened but I thought I commented on your last post - maybe I did and didn't finish and my kids closed the window. Anyway, your pictures are so cute and I am so glad you got to meet some more blogging friends. I think it is so fun to put real faces to the people we have come to know through blogging.

Way to go Ella...sweet little trouble maker! When Gus, our little dog gets too close to Preslie he gets the 'death grip' and the toture begins! :) Good luck today my friend...positive thoughts and prayers!!!

Also -- Ella is too cute! Run, cat, run!! :)
Fortunately for us, our dog, Maggie, is used to being tortured by kids. :)

I am thinking of you two today...hope all goes well...you are so strong to have to endure this every month...I took those door stoppers off 8 years ago when my son was obsessed and I haven't put them back on...so I guess I am party Brayden proofed! Lol...Brayden is just starting to crawl some...Ella has started a trend...love it, but I am finding myself babyproofing a little more these last couple of days...
Have a great week...

Yay for Ella! Way to go with the crawling and trouble making! Grant, my 3 year old, never crawled the "right" way. He always had one leg straight. :-) I hope that all went well with the appointment today. I am anxious to hear the report. I am sure I have said this before but I LOVE looking at your post. I almost feel like I am looking at my Gracie. I would love to get the two of them side by side. In answer to your question that you left on my blog. Grace just turned 1 last week. Can't wait for another post!
