I have to start this post with a preface.....these are borrowed pictures from Justin's mom Emily. I still haven't been able to download my pictures so asked her to send me hers so I could at least have some to show those of you who don't happen to read the other blogs......thanks Emily!!!
Anyway, we had an amazing time last night meeting all of these amazing families. My only complaint......too many wonderful people to talk to and too little time!!! I needed many more hours as I felt that I just didn't get to spend enough time with each person at all. My biggest accomplishment was that I FINALLY got to hold Jax in my arms. His mom said he hasn't been 100% the last couple of days but I got some good snuggles in and that simply made my night!!! I also got to spend time with the youngest little Ds sweetie in attendance. His name is Max and he makes me want another. Michelle (Preslie's mom) and I were saying how we would seriously welcome another Ds baby into our lives. That's how amazing these sweet kids are!!! Actually, the newest little one is baby Kaelyn who is still in the NICU but her wonderful parents were there so it was great to meet them. She still needs prayers to get her home from the hospital so please click on the "Feisty Kaelyn" button on the side of my blog. Anyway, the night ended way too soon but hopefully another meet will happen sooner than later. I really can't wait to post my pictures as there are some that Emily didn't have. Most importantly, the picture of Ella with her special Jaxson Blankie. We are so honored to have one and I can't wait to show it off!!
Today we slept in and went to a late breakfast with Grandpa Vollmer before loading up and hitting the road to Colorado. We are staying the night in Grand Junction, CO and will head in to Denver tomorrow to meet with some friends from TX and my cousin, Cami. So many fun adventures to look forward to!!!
