Ella was practicing standing a little bit tonight. She was doing a pretty good job holding on to the window sill while looking out the window but if you look at her right foot, you can see that it definitely isn't very stable. But it will only get stronger with practice, right?? She thinks it is just as fun to fall down on her bum though.

Cute little butt! How nice that the windows are just the right height for peering out.....That could become a favorite pastime especially if something really fun was happening outside.
Stairs and standing? Go Ella!!
You know I love baby butts!!
how perfect that your windowsills are just the right height! she looks adorable standing up & peering out through the window all by herself.
did your pt mention anything about something to stabilize ella's ankles/feet when she is standing? I forget what they are called - but our pt was talking about fitting Whitney for them when she begins to work on standing more.
wow! climbing the stairs and standing, ella is doing awesome!!!
wow Ella way to go....gosh that girl seems to be on a roll, climbing stairs and standing all in the span of a week or? Well keep it up Ella!! Cute butt no doubt about that!!!
How is it that, that's the cutest part of a baby, What happens as we get older? SOOOOO not my cutest asset anymore. But Miss Ella is working it!!!!!
Looks pretty sure of herself in the pic.
She's SO cute!! That's how Ruby used to stand, too :)
Gosh she is getting so big and looks so 'grown up' standing there! And yes, a very cute butt!
That is the cutest little bum bum I have ever seen! Way to go Ella! Justin isn't very stable either... his feet bend every which way but forward! They WILL get stronger!
Hey Denise! She looks awesome!!!! Did you get my email about AFO's (orthotics or braces)? You should ask your PT about them and if your PT isn't experienced in them then you should talk to your pedi about a pediatric ortho consult. It's not that they won't get stronger on their own eventually, but this could really help her. Email me at mama.masonmann@yahoo.com if you want to talk more about this. :)
I just love that she is standing at the window. She is darling. We practice with Sam as well and strengthening his legs by standing and holding onto the couch. He also loves to fall back down on his butt, he thinks it's so funny.
Ella is doing so great!! And yes - she has such a cute little bum - or 'tiny hiney' as they are called in our house =) Oh - I can definitely see walking in your near future!
Cutest butt on the blogs!
