She climbed the stairs!! Yes, this is a great milestone...but not one I am excited about!! Her teacher has been working with her on it but she was really assisting her so I haven't started worrying about putting a gate up yet. So, today, not 20 minutes after her teacher left, we hear her kind of cry out and Emma finds her sitting 5 steps up on the first landing!!! OMG!!! So of course we bring her back down and the girls try to coax her back up so we can see her actually do it and sure enough off she went. I think the easy days are over with!!!

that is such a huge milestone! it is so hard for a kid to climb stairs. henry loves to climb them and i let him do it all the time...with me right behind him of course. it is a perfect workout because he has to use all his muscles and shift from side to side which is great for strengthening the midline!! henry really gained a lot of strength and started doing more after he learned to do stairs. i'm so excited for ella!

How FANTASTIC....thats is just so exciting, I know it means having to be being behind her all the time, but really worth it I'm sure!!!! Way to go amazing Ella Grace!!!

You are right - the easy days are a thing of the past. I can't believe she can do stairs - she is awesome. Ashleigh just asked if we have met Ella - I told her one day we will.
